We’re pleased to have two very exciting events coming up in September!
On September 22 from 11 AM-4 PM, we’re hosting a Storytelling Workshop at The State Museum of Pennsylvania. Want to get confident enough to be a featured storyteller? Want to refine your skills? Join host Janet Bixler to develop and hone your skills as a storyteller. This workshop will be offered in an extended 5 hour format which will be appropriate for both new storytellers to hone their skills and previous workshop participants to further build their talent. This workshop will be limited to a maximum of 12 participants, so buy your ticket early! Tickets are $40 and are available for purchase now.
On September 29 at 7 PM, we’re teaming up with the Midtown Cinema for a special Untitled at the Cinema event. Join us for a special viewing of Rat Film with special guest DAN DEACON, who composed the film’s score! Tickets are $25 or $20 for Cinema members, and they’re available for purchase now.
ABOUT RAT FILM: Across walls, fences, and alleys, rats not only expose our boundaries of separation but make homes in them. “Rat Film” is a feature-length documentary that uses the rat—as well as the humans that love them, live with them, and kill them-to explore the history of Baltimore.
ABOUT DAN DEACON: Dan Deacon is an American composer and performer whose work focuses on a maximalist approach to density with a fixation on sample manipulation, synthesis, mechanical instruments and audience collaboration. Learn more at www.dandeacon.com.
